I used an invisible zipper as a closure and stitch witchery as a hem aid on the skirt for the mourning party.  And I don't even feel bad about it!

Since we're confessing things, my petticoat is made from a bed skirt. I have three other thrifted bed skirts waiting for the same treatment!! :D

I have a thrifted bedskirt for that purpose, too! I didn't even remember it when I was making my petticoat...Oh well, I'm sure it'll come in handy for the next one. :)
