Victorian and Art Deco Rings

Are you in the market for Victorian or Art Deco style rings, without the hefty price tag that comes with antique jewelry?  You should check out edsvictoriangems on eBay.  It sounds like these rings are made from original molds, and they have actual gemstones in the settings.  They look great, too!  I managed to narrow it down to these three for myself, but I'm really tempted to order more:

These are too, too pretty!

I'm in love with your choices.

It's hard to say which one I like best.... I'd have to buy all three, too!

So, what are you going to make with which to wear these pretty pretties?

Believe it or not, I have stash fabric that will perfectly compliment each of these! I guess my list of things to make just got 3 outfits longer. :)

I believe it!

Obviously, the universe intends for you to have these three rings.

So, will you be making Victorian, or Art Deco, or a couple of outfits of one, and one outfit of the other?

For starters, it'll be Victorian. It's one of my costuming happy-places. I should probably venture into Art Deco territory soon, though. I'm always missing out on Art Deco events in the area because I haven't made anything era-appropriate yet!

I'm sort of surprised, if Art Deco is becoming (or is already!) so popular. It does seem quite a departure from Eighteenth Century and Victorian work.

Somehow, I never got into that period, myself, but that might be because I've never had the shape for it, far too "fin de siècle" to look good in those sleek, slinky bias-cut and biased-draped glamour gowns, so Carole Lombard and all that.

Still sighing blissfully over those rings! :^D

I feel like I'm not really the right shape either, but I have to keep reminding myself that ladies have always come in all shapes and sizes. There must be an option that will work for everyone in every era. Finding it (and not being too distracted by the 'ideal' shape) is the challenge!
