Go ahead and do 1900s! Keep in mind that the Titanic was very early in the Teens - it was even early in the year! 1900s would be perfectly appropriate. At least for me, unless I'm actually reenacting, I'd rather do something that's maybe a little out of style, than do something that's spot-on but I just phoned in, or really don't like, that I made just to have something to wear.
